Oh cool.

Today's factoid: the script editor for "Smith and Jones" was the same person who was editor for the book Tears of the Oracle, where the connection between the Doctor and Brax was first mentioned. :)

Hmm. Any connection to the line in that same script about whether the Doctor has a brother: "Not anymore"?

I think RTD said somewhere that was just an in-joke, didn't he?

Did he? thought it was pretty well-established that Brax was the Doctor's brother?

The in-joke was referring to the storyline that was thrown out the window when Roger Delgado met an untimely death - that the Doctor and the Master were brothers.

I remember hearing that the Master would've died in what became "Planet of the Spiders" while saving the Doctor's life. Hrm, that would've been interesting, had there been 30 years of that as canon. :)

Yeah, that would've made the new series eps with the Master so much better. If only. *sighs*

Hrm, dunno what I thought of the Master being insane in the new series. In the old one, he clearly wasn't, which made him worse, I think.

Not Insane would have helped too, yes.

Does make one wonder, but I hope not with Season 11 of Benny being the resolution of that storyline with the Collection. (supposedly it's been planned awhile.)
