I learned something new on Tues... I HAVE to say this as I think it's funny. Merkin is the new word that I learned and in some ways I've been kinda saying it from time to time. It's just too bad I don't really have any use for it...

It's all thanks to Jason. The subject got brought up when I called one of our friends a vagina wig. Hee hee tee hee. Didn't realize that there was such a thing... hmm, wonder who wears those type of things? How common is it? Seriously, I came across some sort men/women sexual survey type of thing on about.com and like 16 percent of men shave their pubic area whereas 95 percent of women do... It's obviously an old term, but it's still funny to me.
Work is still same old same old. I've been looking for a new job. I'm ready for something new as much as I'm going to miss some of my co-workers. I'm tired of the drama that's going on at work. Someone that I was attracted to found out, and blew up in my face about it... so now it's just kind of gotten to be where we just don't speak unless we have to. It's really too bad because I thought this person was a lot better than that...but apparently not. On the bright side, my friend Karen's back!!! The Hy-Vee world goes 'round again! :) She makes our lunch crew whole again. :)
I've decided to expand my job search to other areas than KC. Possibly Des Moines even though honestly, I've been looking to go out to California. I just don't know if I can be away from my family/"family" but at the same time, I guess it's time to "let go." As what the wise B said to me, "you know if they're your true friends if they keep in touch with you." So true, but it's still something that I've got to consider. It would mean that I wouldn't get to see them as often as I would like to, etc. I mean I go up to the Quad Cities twice a year and then Springfield maybe once a month or so depending on what's going on with everyone..even though I know I won't make it down there for March (even though March has just begun)... Thinking it's going to be more like the first weekend of April when I'll be able to make it down there.
In about six days, I'll be in Colorado!!!! I'm so excited! It's going to be a lot of fun. Still have a lot of stuff that needs to be done before I go but it's going to be a blast! It'll be nice to have some girl time with Tara and Kelly!!! :) I'm also looking forward to hitting those slopes!!!! It's going to be so much fun!
