Hard to believe that you've been gone for a year now, Dad. It's sad how your brother and sisters don't even talk to each other anymore. Your parents won't even talk to their oldest son. One of your sisters, otherwise known as my "wonderful" godmother doesn't even talk to me anymore. I haven't seen her since I left town the week of your funeral. It's irony of a how a "perfect" Catholic family just fell apart even though it's always been dysfunctional family but they're well known in the Catholic community up where I used to live so needless to say, it'd be a bit surpriseing to some. I've still held up my end of the bargain/promises to you, despite the fact that they've screwed me over and have been so bitter and hateful towards me. I sent Grandma flowers... hopefully it'll bring a smile on her face.
