(no subject)
Went out with Loyd for dinner and had coffee with my friends here in KS. It was a lot of fun. I really miss my convos with Loyd and the randomness of what our convos could be... and I also miss our time together... the Deaf times. Brought Loyd into the group. I'm hoping he didn't feel too awkward but I also wonder how much of the Starbucks employees overheard as I was voice interpreting for him and another person.... I can only imagine what they were probably thinking as I was intepreting sex stories, jokes, etc. Haha. Quite a blast.
Am beat from this week.... I'm finally off for two days after working eight days straight. Started working Thurs at 5:30 PM and finally ended eight days later at 4 PM! This week I ended up working 42, 43 hours! This next paycheck's going to be NICE!!!!! I also worked five different depts in eight days too. That's just WILD! Started out in Accting, then overnights, cashiering (grocery dept), Camera/Video and last but not least- Customer Service.
Got a lot to do this weekend as I think my brother and I are going to switch rooms this weekend. We're going to do it with Rick gone. I'm looking fwd to it but at the same time, not really.... I lose the personal bathroom but I gain a shower with much better water pressure and it gets hot faster than my normal bathroom!!!! My brother's 14 years old... he needs to have that privacy instead of sharing a bathroom with my 11 yr old sister! My bedroom will be much smaller, maybe abt 1/4 or half size smaller than my current bedroom so it'll be interesting getting all the stuff in... I think its actually a bit smaller than the dorm rooms but it's only just me... not two people. ;-)
I still can't believe school starts on Mon. I'm looking forward to this semester. I think this Fall's going to be good for me. I have a lot of good opportunities happening this time around that I wouldn't of had if I went to Springfield, and vice versa (naturally).
Okay, I thought I had more profound thoughts but obviously I'm too tired to get into it. Been up since 6 AM so, guess it's time for me to go nighty nite!!!!!
