(no subject)
I've questioned in whether or not fate actually exist or if it's just dumb luck... luck that you just make by coming across randomly. Things that happen or happening to you-- the people that you meet or bump into you-- is that fate or just random luck? Is the world already set up by some sort astrological plan? Are we stuck inside some sort of like a dome shape ball with people looking inside us or like in some sort of realistic world.
An example I'll use... when I first found out my Dad was sick, my best friend Kel ended up having to move back to the same city that he lived a few months prior to before my Dad came back into my life. Then after that I started going up ther once a month. I swear, I think it was her that kept me sane up there. I managed to see a few friends and then of course some of my family along with my Dad when I did go in to see him. Dad was the main person to visit but on the days that he felt like crap and didn't want to me to see him, Kel was the person that kept me sane and would make me feel better. Then she was able to move back to D.C., and it just so happened that I couldn't come in as frequently as I did due to having classes five days a week.
Is it fate or dumb luck that I was able to have two roommates that was going through so many of the same stuff as I was so we ended up helping each other out in so many different ways in making ourselves more comforable with who we are. Those of you that know me well enough, know what I'm talking about. To them, these words will seem so petty but thanks!
Is it fate or dumb luck that I've met my friends for life and feel that no matter how far away we end up living from each other but know that we can call up/email one another and feel so close?
Is it fate or dumb luck that I walked away from a car accident that totalled my car but physically I walked away barely without a scratch last summer in the very same spot that kills so many people every year? To this day, I still hear the sound of the other car hitting me. I still get nervous about going across six lanes of traffic--even four!
Is it fate or dumb luck that I'm even writing this post?! LOL. Probably more dumb luck. Anyway, am going to go to bed as I've gotta be at work at 8 AM tmw! EWWWW but it's hours! I need them! Hope all's well with everyone! Sorry for this rambling nonsense! ;-)
