Had to get blood drawn today and turn in a bottle of urine collected over 24 hours. Conversation with the lab tech who was there.
"Your height?"
"5'1"ish."
"You weight...," as she looks me over, "is 105."
"It's 115."
"Well you're lying about your weight."
"Do you have a scale here? I would be happy to be weighed again. The last time I was weighed at a doctors office, last week, I weighed 115."
"Hm. Is that the urine?"
"Yes."
"That's all you could collect?"
"I guess I don't pee much. Do you need more?"
"Well if that's all you could give, I guess that's all you could give."
For the record it was just over 1000 cc which is roughly 34 oz. Not a great deal but they told me not to increase my fluid intake or anything.
Suddenly she's trying to be super nice and is talking about concerts and such after noting my Robert Plant shirt. What bizzaro land am I living in lately?
