Wings lose :(
So wrong to see the Pens with the Cup at Detroit. So very wrong. *tears* But in my time of sorry (really. i did cry.) the powers that be provided me with a distraction. Unfortunately, it also endangered a friends home!
A loverly thunderstorm plodded across the southern sky heading east and another smaller one to the east oozed toward the south. A collision was imminent. Time to wipe my tears and grab the camera. Instead of a combined effort the southern storm killed the eastern storm, pulling in it's energy for itself. I was snapping away when I thought, "Gee. This lightning is getting really wild." Five minutes later, the tornado sirens go off. Do I go in like a sensible person? No. It's moving east! Nothing to worry about!
As it travels east, I notice disturbing things. Mainly, the dark cloud in the foreground is rotating. Yeah. I'm watching the potential birth of a tornado over a friends house. At best, a horrific hail storm. At worst, loss of them! I will call them tomorrow to see if they are okay. It's rather late now and if they are fine (and I believe they are) would just piss them off.
