Merry Christmas, everyone! So much for sleeping in this morning. I seem to wake up almost every morning now between 7:00am and 8:00am. Hopefully, Niamh will be able to sleep a bit later, though.

We had a good Christmas celebration in Winston the past few days. We're back home as of late last night, and today we'll be at my parents to celebrate

I got an email from my Aunt who got a great picture of a sign in Stockbridge, MA for a restaurant that was formerly Alice's Restaurant. Aunt Robin says that it was just around the corner as well.

My cousin's soccer team is ranked #8 nationally!

Matt and I played golf this afternoon -- it was really hot!! But, we had a good time. I think I shot about a 114 (par 72 course). It would be nice to get that under 100 eventually. My sports awareness has been widened this month, between the Stanley Cup finals and the World Cup. (It would seem the Hurricanes only make the finals in World Cup years.) Despite the Wolfpack loss to Texas in the NCAA second round this evening, this has been a great sports weekend for me. It started at about 1:30pm Thursday afternoon, when I left campus to head over to my brother Kevin's apartment to watch most of the Thursday first round action. My friends page has been quiet (aside from rhiannonjk of course) this past week. Niamh and I had a great Christmas week, and we're now enjoying Niamh's two days off from work! I'll post more later about what we did, what we got, and other details of the week.
