Canada Day was awesome. Aside from the party where I somehow polished off a mickey of SoCo without getting sick, I was also in a Canada Day parade with the mayors riding my bike around with my best friend Cavan and giving out lollipops to kids.

I have a fantastic tan.

Drinking in Canada legally is hella fun. Canada is hella fun.

I got a raise after working only 5 days...now I'm up to $13 an hour. Fuckin' sweet for riding my bike.

"Nice penis. I can see your circumcised." I will laugh my ass off about that for years.

Drunk Irish dancing in Irish bars is damn fun.

My grades this quarter were damn good, and that makes me proud. A+, A, B, and P, and multiple evaluations saying things like "Kyle did an excellent job on the mid-term exam and quizzes."

Walking around Vancouver is damn fun, especially considering how many cool shops there are and how cool my friends are. (Facebook album to come.)

I still love how many people know me as Sunshine, and how many of those I've never even met.

I love mountain biking in Vancouver. It's magnificent.

Last night made the second time I've had a frighteningly vivid dream where I can tell I'm about to die, and just before the moment comes I'm able to tell my mom I love her. Both dreams I remember clearly, and were extremly and terrifyingly powerful.

Improving my riding skills makes me extremely happy. So does saving $300 on the new ridiculously sweet Juicy Carbon brakes I bought.

Today (Sunday, July 23rd) was another fantastially random day that made me love Canada all the more, just because I don't have to be partying or biking to enjoy myself with many wonderful people. It went like this: Cavan called me and I came and met him at Sarah's house, where she and an Aussie named Rich were too. We played "I Spy," then proceeded on a mini road trip into the city to drop the Australian at the bus depot, having picked up another friend just before. We then came back, ate breakfast at a delicious little place at 3:00pm, then came back to my place where more people joined us and we watched a random Cameron Diaz movie in the basement. Then we went to Sarah's house, where Panos cooked us a fantastic Greek dinner and four of us played Lord of the Rings Risk. Soon many more showed up, and by the time I left, there were close to 25 people hanging out at Sarah's schmoozing, playing beer pong, or simply chilling in a treehouse. All this in just a spontaneous, unplanned, yet absolutely wonderful day. And I've had so many like this, it makes me delighted.

Pink parties are great. So is having 14 drinks at them and having a blast.

Saturday I randomly went cliffjumping into snowmelt. The water, despite the weather being incredibly hot up here, was still freaking cold! But that didn't stop me from jumping off a 35 foot cliff. That shit freaks me out.

The new Rise Against CD is AMAZING.

Somehow I've lost a pound a day for the last 5 days in a row, thus putting me below 170 for the first time in years. What the fuck? I'm not even trying.

One day I took out a camera. We went into the city, then rocked a Barbie and Ken party. The whole day was a blast. See all the out of order pictures here: http://ucsc.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2028370&id=6712157

I suppose that's enough to keep you fools entertained for now. Just put it this way: my life is fantastic, I'm loving every second of it, and I couldn't be happier right now. The future is ever so bright.
