it's been really difficult to get me excited about art-making lately, but i'm slowly getting back into the groove. i have a sweet composition going for my latest figure painting, and i'm psyched. i'm getting some ideas for drawing and stanley didn't yell at me today.
i just talked to margo, who is a photo teacher here. she is awesome, and i really like talking to her. she made me realize how stupid it would be for me not to enter something in the juried show this year at the art center. so that would be really exciting. you know, getting money and stuff. that's hot.
i'm watching garden state A LOT these days. i can't help it. and i cry every time. big surprise, right? anyway, i like it a lot.
