I saw a pair of stirrup pants the other day. Worn without a hint of irony. Not stirrup pants exactly, more like stirrup leggings. Remember those tights we used to wear to jazz class? Tights with the heel and the toe cut out? Sometimes we made them ourselves out of regular tights? Those. Worn with a crotch-skimming baby-doll tunic and ballet flats.

Why not just don a pair of fingerless gloves and a fedora and call it a day?
