My second favourite vacation spot (the first being Quend de La Plage, France) would have to be
Club Med in Tunisia. I recommend the archery classes, and the bar. LOVE the bar. In the winter, it's not to crowded. The grass umbrellas on the beach are picturesque. The white sand is fine, the water cool. The service is above par. Everyone was very polite.
Going to the open air market in town was a bit strange when I was the only person standing during the afternoon muslim prayers. The rugs are high quality, high number of knots in the weave. Love that mint tea that each of the merchants offer to you while you are haggling prices.
The thing I think I shall always remember, though: they put rice in the salt shakers. At first, I thought it was mice droppings. But what kind of rodent eats salt?
