Americans aren't apathetic. We aren't. We aren't silent. Those of us who are actually awake, and not glued to our TV sets, hoping and praying for whatever god of American Idol that we are currently programmed to be worshipping and rooting for. The those of us that aren't screaming in some fucking stadium at a gaggle of gladiators tossing around a pigskin. We are aware that our empire is crumbling bwteen the fingers of the greedy hogs, the Corporate Giants, Big Brother, who has governed us for so long. Why should we speak up? We should we mona and groan and bitch on our blogs about politics and why doesn't the President do this or that? DON"T YOU FUCKING GET IT? The President is not the President. Look behind the curtain, Dorothy, look and see what the Corporate owned media doesn't want you to see. There are so many fucking people on thsi planet that the price of a human life is nothing. We are all expendible. I don't care how important you think you are, we are all suffocating in this pertidish that we have overpopulated like the fungus that we are on this planet.
Why should I scream from my little corner? Why should I state my silly little opinion in my little whispered voice? You don't care. You have your opinion, and damned if you will change it. You have your blinders up, you believe the fear and the rage that is broadcast at you from the TV, the radio, the newspapers. YOU think it's real. You have no idea what is really going on. Rome is falling. We are our own worst enemies. There is no US, there is no them. There is just this. This is America. This is the United States of America. We are now the fatherland. Our vote means nothing. The elections have been fixed for half a century. All they care about is that we buy and work and put money in their pockets. I am not talking about the democrats or the republicans or whatever stupid little party that you have been conditioned to believe in. They do not exist. Put aside your regurgitated beliefs and faith and THINK FOR YOURSELF. For one fucking little moment. We are dying. We are the cancer on this planet. Until we wake up and see that every action we take against our brothers and sisters, no matter where they lives, what God they pray to, or what color their skin is-- these actions we take against ourselves. We are all one human race. We are poisoning ourselves. It is not too late to reverse this process. We just have to stand up as one and not speak, not compain, not listen complacently, but DO something. DO something.
Yes. I'm pissed. I've been fucking pissed for a long time. But I'm not going to preach to the choir, I'm not going to argue with ignorant brain washed American centric people who think the one eyed monster speaks the truth. You can't wake the dead. I must come from a place of calm. I do my research. I learn what I can about what has been done, what is being done now and what will be done. I wait. I do little things, like not shopping at Walmart, buying my food organic at local farmer's markets. Nothing radical. I don't go to protests and scream and shout. That will only get me put on some government list as a radical. Later on, when I defend myself in some shoot out, they will call me a terrorist. I think the old word for Terrorist was: "Pinko"- or "Commie", wasn't it? You can't teach this old dog old tricks, because I already know them all. There is no American Dream anymore. Only the American Nightmare. And don't blame it on Obama. He's just a puppet doing his job. There are Corporations who run the scenes behind him. They are the true "Wizard of Oz".
You want to do something? I want you to travel. Travel to these third world countries and see the poverty that WE AS THE PEOPLE have created and are creating every day with our unfair market practices. Hate illegal aliens? I CHALLENGE YOU TO LIVE IN THEIR COUNTRY FOR A YEAR, living on the same wages, in the same slums they do. You will not survive, you white bellied, fat little fish. You call yourself AMERICAN? ha. You should see what they world thinks of us. We have always been a joke. I am ashamed to be called an American.
But we must go about our lives, we must. There are mouths to be fed, there is laundry to be done. The car needs fixing, the electrical bill needs to be paid. What do I care if a child is starving? What do I care if a teenage girl has been sold into sexual slavery? What do I care if American Soldiers or American hired "Security Teams" are torturing a father, a brother, because the color of his skin, because of the God that he prays to? Tomorrow they shall rape his sister. His Mother shall weep on graves that do not exist because the dead are missing. What do we care? Tiger Woods was in a car crash. Oprah is ending her show. These things are much more important that what is being done in our name. We are kept in the dark and fed full of shit. Our "owners" think we are deaf, dumb, and stupid. What they do not know, is that we, the quiet ones, the ones who never speak up, we are the ones to watch out for.
When the time comes, and it shall, oh it shall, we will stand up and say: "No more."
