Just a quick note to say what's going on. My boss at work, who lives two house away from me has come down with dengue fever. It's a little like malaria but not as serious. Still since it's spread through mosquitoes, we're all on bug-watch here. It's not quite that dramatic, cause dengue really isn't THAT bad. (You're sick and fever-y and muscle-achy for a couple of weeks but then you get totally better). I'm actually worried about getting dengue, cause I know I'd just get better eventually. The only reason I'm a little concerned is that I don't know how the American customs officials would feel about letting me back in to America after recently having an infectious tropical disease. You have to fill out those form when you enter America, full of questions like "have you contracted any tropical diseases?". I have visions of airport security arresting me and putting me in a box labelled "quarantine" as soon as I put yes. Well, let's just hope I don't get it, or I may end up in Samoa longer than I expected. Hehe.
Love you,
Meg
