What lousy spelling! Yikes. I can hardly see I am so tired. Just got home from 4 days in Pittsburgh. A postcard will be winging its way to you for your walls.

Love,

It probably was NACAC because I know my mom goes to that conference. I know this 1)because growing up Mom would always bring us home bags and waterbottles and stuff that said NACAC on them and 2) would used to laugh at how funny the name NACAC sounded. Wow it's weird to think you do the same type of work as my mom. It's like you're an adult or something...hehe. Love you!

I sure was! Yes, NACAC is an odd name that people like to tease me about at work (and clearly, at home...). How about OACAC - the Overseas Association for College Admission Counseling? Sounds like the commercial with the duck for AFLAK. People make duck noises in the office when I say I'm going to OACAC or NACAC.

I did two presentations at the conference and also did a booth. I smiled a lot : ) Pittsburgh is a much nicer city than I thought. I worked hard but I enjoyed myself.

Oh my gosh Jo, Meg says you are turning into an adult! Aaargh - fate worse than death? Oh by the way, I saw your picture (and Verna and Risa and Taralyne and Meg) in the yearbook. Very cool. Meg told me you're working for the school now. What do you do?

I am an "enrollment services officer" which means that I have two jobs. My primary job is financial assistance. I verify FAFSA forms and counsel people on how they can pay for Drew. My other job is the admissions portion. My territory is upstate NY and southern NJ. I go to college fairs, visit high schools, and read applications from students in that territory... then accept or reject them into Drew. I will be at NACAC in atlantic city. Apparently there is SACAC (southern) and WACAC (western) among many more. The admissions and financial aid fields love acronyms. It's fun, but long days and a lot of travel right now.

Whoa, you decide who gets into Drew? That's power. Coolness. Good luck!
