In search for the best coffee and tea

Ahh.. it has been a while. Have recently hit a busy patch + bloggers' block.

I have 2 pictures of skinks and gekos in my phone but I have no idea what to say about them yet. Therefore, this post would be about something I realy enjoy - good old tea and coffee. IMHO, nothing beats drinking a good cup of coffee/ tea in a secluded place with a blank paper and a pencil in hand. The perfect key to intellectual and imagintive freedom where the beverage is your mindfuel.

So here are my picks so far... (1. = best)

For coffee:
1. The Coffee Connoisseur (TCC) - Their 'perfect match' (rose latte) is the best! For those who know j-rock, this is the perfect drink to get into the Moix dix Moix mood. It is also the perfect drink to savour on a day where you know you want to pamper yourself a little.
2. Starbucks - The caramel Macchiato (hot) is just the perfect balance of sweet and bitter. Although the drink gets a bit milky at times, who says milk is not good =D I have my cousin to thank for introducing me to this nice beverage.
3. Tully's coffee - Caramel Latte is gud gud.
4. Megabites - Since this place is situated in the science faculty, they have drinks with weird names like Cyber latte. But the cyber latte is indeed very good. However, at $1.90, the serving is pretty small.
5. The Coffee Club - Banana butterscotch latte =)

For tea:
1. Mr Tea - Cheap, good and novel teas =) This place is located at SMU. A true gem =D
2. Banquet - Their huge cuppas are filled with good ole sweet teh!
3. Seah Im hawker centre muslim drinks stall (the one nearest to the interchange) - one of the best teh tariks I have tried =D
4. (I don't know the name >_<) This place is an Indian coffee shop opposite Grace Methodist Church. Also serves nice teh tarik!
