Matsudo and a sketch

今日は日本祝日, 体育の日!Managed to wake up early to go to Kashiwa station at around 9:30am in the morning. After walking about a bit, I decided to go to Matsudo, one station away on the Joban-line.

Matsudo ended up having almost the same features as Kashiwa:

Same overhead bridge connecting the east and west ends of the station and shops surrounding the station. Perhaps the only difference is that Kashiwa has more restaruants while Matsudo has more old bookstores, DVD shops etc... Kashiwa is also home to OIOI, Tower Records and DonQ while Matusdo boasts Isetan and another department store of which I cannot remember the name. Walked around for an hour or so before I became bored and headed back. At this point, I have to add that I am rather hopeless at shopping =( I saw numerous legging shops and was thinking of buying something but i thought I didn't need it then I ended up moving on. I usually end up buying things only when i feel that i really need them and usually, that's a little too late? (not sure if that's a good or bad thing).

I am however, a quite the shopper when it comes to books and guitars (or any music related books/ magazines). I just bought a new capo at a quite pricey 35SGD >_< because am starting on songs which have variable tuning. Service in music stores in Japan is really very good as compared to Singapore. Although it was just a capo, the shop assistant was very willing to let me try the fit on one of the store's Ibanez guitars (similar model to mine) to make sure the capo model would sit well on my guitar. In Singapore they would probably crudely say something like "standard lah sure can one" and if you insist they would grudgingly let you try while wearing long faces. So in defense of the price, I got a very nicely fitted capo with a 1 year warranty and great service ^_^

But before I left Matsudo, I decided that I had to try yoshinoya in Japan =) And it's a lot better than Yoshinoya in Singapore, despite being more pricey (about 8 - 10 SGD) but... they have.... Neba Neba Gyudon! It was my first time trying the okura Nebaneba with rice but it tasted great!

Finally, ending off with random sketch of Ruki and Sujk =)

Am still thinking that Ruki's a genius on the TOXIC album and am excited for Sujk's Arkhelism album in December. So far, Leda has written and composed all the DELUHI songs so am really looking forward to seeing DELUHI songs produced from Sujk's angle. Well, it does show that he has the capability to compose and produce too. Wondering why Leda took it all on himself to do it for DELUHI though...
