A time for goodbyes?
This few months seem like a time for goodbyes and a plethora of rather intense feelings.
End August was the time we sent my sis off for a semester-long exchange to Korea. *yes I still miss her but I also want her to have the best (of fun, of exploration, of new friends, of comfort) over at Korea without worry =)* And yeah! There's skype and msn and LJ =D
Just a few days later, I had to say goodbye to my faithful Toshiba laptop. Somehow this was hard to let go off also because the Toshiba had spent 4.5 years with me. It was the laptop which had seen me through numerous important reports, it had survived a major virus attack, a major overhaul, and it was the computer I got a bit more "tech-smart" on.
But that being said, goodbyes need not be permanent affairs. I am very excited about the prospect of meeting my sis again =D And I managed to squeeze out some cash to get a new laptop. I will treat this one well haha. I guess its time to work harder and save more again >_<
Talking about goodbyes and hellos... my old laptop crashed right while i was halfway through the picture I mentioned in my previous post. But in the end, I managed to complete it still...
A bit about the pic...
- Its Syu and Leda... its my first try at very slight suggestiveness...
- - - since some friends recently did their first tries at guy-guy, girl-girl with varying degrees of intimacy, I thought "why not?".
- - - Don't click the LJ cut if dun want!
- Since I was being a scatter-brain then, I was shifting between Galneryus, Deluhi, the songs "love the way you lie", "The Farthest" and "Nothing else matters" :S so.. I had this feeling of half intensity-half emptiness... half want, half repulsion. And that was fuel enough to get me to try and draw something.
- - - In this case I thought Syu and Leda were kind of suitable because of the emotions which surfaced behind the Galneryus-Deluhi member shift. Reading their blogs reminds me of the three songs I have been musing over (minus the violence of course XD Cos that would be scary). But now, all's cool! Moving on? maybe.
- This pic was done on impulse, so I did not use any references. Er.. that's where the mistakes came from haha XD
