One of Hollywood's biggest blockbuster hits will film a portion of it's next installment in Milwaukee.

"We're going to get a piece of Transformers 3...the mega hit," says Dave Fantle with Film Wisconsin.  "What great news."

Fantle says his group has been working on scouting sites for the movie since November but the announcement became official today.  The filming will take place the week of July 12th at the Milwaukee Art Museum and the Tower Automotive site.  The shoots will be closed to the public.

Fantle says the total economic impact of the movie shoot may top one million dollars.  He adds that local students will be hired to work as production assistants and producers will also be scouting for adult extras to be paid for smaller roles in the action.  Fantle says, "They're going to be looking for males and females, trendy executive types, 18 years or older."

The casting call will take place at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center on Saturday, June 26th from 10:00am-3:30pm.  Potential extras are asked to show up to the Wright Ballroom on the 4th floor looking their "executive best".
