hi.
remember me? i moved to new york city and got a job with the state legislature. hopefully the senator I work for won't get voted out of office come november. its a sweet government job, but i work in a shitty neighborhood and have to try and feel good about it at the end of the day. saturday nights i usually go out drinking with my buddies and stumble home around 3am. last weekend the L train took so long to come and i had to pee really bad, but it wasn't so bad cos I had some sick pizza before i swipped my metrocard. i have a sick apartment, two cats and an awesome boyfriend. we don't like to many people, and we keep running into the ones we don't think to much of, but its new york city! i listen to npr everyday at the office and my co-workers make fun of me because i think recycling is important. not in the ghetto they say! sometimes i wish i had a car so i could fly around the city without descending into the depths of hell. but then i realize that i only make $30,000 a year and my rent is $1100 a month. if i go back to school next year ill have an extra $100000 in student loans but i'll be able to make millions and afford that loft and BMW i've always talked about. my shopping sprees will be a years rent and i won't have any reservations about being the asshole that i've always secretly wanted to be.
