:: Well, I went to Guildford but didn't manage to go to Salisbury because the weather was terrible. I met my sister after her job interview, and we had some lunch in a typical British pub. In the evening we went to a French film festival, which surprisingly I enjoyed! I slept over and in the morning we walked to the next town which took us about 1.30 hours. The walk was beautiful! The trail was next to a river and the scenery was breathtaking! Images like that just make me want to leave the city and live on a farm, making my living by writing! I know. Nothing new, already been done.
:: My sis has been staying with me for the past 4 days or so. I have to admit, it's been exhausting. She's been dragging me all over the place. Some things I enjoyed, but others I was too tired to do. But I put on a happy smile and did them anyway. She even took me to a Smyths concert (a tribute band of the Smiths) which was cool but I was way too tired to enjoy. I swayed a bit to the music, but not too much in fear of me toppling over...
:: On Friday, my sis got a call from the interviewers and guess what? SHE GOT THE JOB!! WOOHOO!! I'm so happy for her! She really wanted it and had all the qualifications for it! I for one, would never be able to do what she wants. I can barely stand teaching to children, but teaching and catering to autistic children? Too hard for me. I tip my hat to her!
:: I took her to the theatre yesterday and we saw 'War Horse'. My sister rarely never goes to the theatre but she really loved this production! It really is superb! All you guys in the US can enjoy it soon enough as they're transferring to Broadway! She left a couple of hours ago and I'm so tired. This is definitely not the way starting my new job, which is tomorrow. Anyway. I'm just glad she had a good time and got the job. She'll be here for her birthday, so she won't be alone! But I will since no one's gonna be here on mine... :(
