:: I usually skip the interview part of both TDS and TCR mainly because I find them quite boring. They have had some great interviews, but I just can't stand watching some douchy politician blowing smoke out his ass, while Jon or Stephen try to PWN him. Which they always do. This week however both the boys provided some fantastic interviews! First came
Jon with his Monday guest. BETTY FUCKING WHITE! That lady is so awesome I have no words! She was on promoting her new show -'Hot In Cleveland'- and she was so funny! I think I'm not exaggerating when I say that there isn't a person in the world who wouldn't want her as their grandmother! Then at the end of the week,
Stephen had the great David Mamet on the show! I am such a huge fan of his work! Yes, he is misogynistic and sexist but his writings are much more than that. I am definitely buying his new book entitled
"Theatre". I was a tad disappointed he didn't talk about 'November' at all when they were talking about political messages. After watching the interview, I keep having the urge to say
"Always.Be.Closing". It will wear off at some point I suppose.
:: Yesterday, I got a huge wave of joy which came in the form of a little brown package in the mail. I got "Not The Messiah"! Needless to say that I've already watched it four times and can't stop listening to the songs. I absolutely love it! I understand that it may not be well received by all Pythons fans, but it holds a special place in my heart as I was actually there! Since I'm having this surge of happiness and giddiness, I thought it appropriate to share some of the clips with you! Unfortunately, for some inexplicable reason I'm not able to embed them, so I'm just linking them for you!

I'm A Lumberjack (And I'm Ok) "You're The One" was one of the evening highlights. The light illuminated by the candles coupled with the unique sound of the bagpipes was absolutely stunning! You can actually hear the audience's reaction when they hear the bagpipes!
:: And now...for something completely typical! GEEKVILLE! I've been perusing various sites for no reason in particular and came across these extremely awesome geeky photos which I simply must share! They're only a couple, but still very amusing! So fellow nerds, get ready!
David Tennant...with a camcorder...in a Star Wars t-shirt... *dies*
:: GOOD LUCK TONIGHT ENGLAND! I just hope Rooney gets his act together and starts kicking some butt! He was too lax in the last game. Not surprising that Green was replaced by James. After his slip up in the last game, no one can question Capello's decision I think.
