:: I have to admit, I am a tad disappointed with the results of last night's game. Ok, 'tad' is an understatement. The football match between the US and the UK ended in a 1:1 tie which totally pissed me off. WTF England?! They started off great, with Gerrard scoring in the 4th but from then on they seemed to slack off a bit allowing the US team have equal possession of the ball as themselves. And then came Green's massive mistake...I'm almost certain that Rooney tried to strangle him in the locker room after the game! And Rooney is another thing. It seems that now that he's trying to control his temper, his game is off. I also have to wonder how the team would be had Wayne Bridges accepted to be on the team...I don't blame him from refusing though after what happened with Terry...I've always had a soft spot for Terry -so hot- but what he did was pretty douchy. Anyway. I just hope the team does better in the next games.
:: New guests have been announced for this year's Comic Con and you'll never guess who they are! First off, William B. Davis or as most of you probably know him 'Cigarette Smoking Man' from 'The X-Files'! Woohoo! As a young teenager I used to love the show and always wanted to meet some of the cast! I got to see Gillian Anderson last year and seeing Davis as well will be great! Second of all, it was just announced that Elisabeth Sladen will also be attending! Yes, you heard correctly. 'Sarah Jane' herself will be there this year! How cool is that?! William Shatner and Jonathan Frakes will also be there (to quench my Trekkie thirst) so I think it's a pretty great line-up overall, don't you agree??
:: 'Not The Messiah' is finally being released on dvd tomorrow! I've already pre-ordered it and can't wait to watch it! I can't understand why it's being released in the US earlier than in the UK...And there hasn't even been an announcement as to when the cd is going to be released in the UK which is pretty weird. I'm tempted to buy it off of iTunes but I know I'm going to want to buy the cd when it comes out anyway, so I guess I'll just have to restrain myself for the time being!
