:: Well, I finally didn't manage to attend the Star Trek convention. It was very far away. The only way one could get there was by car. What's the point of having a convention where there's no access?! The area is beautiful though. It was held at a hotel in the area of Sounio, right under the temple of Poseidon. Apparently, at the end of the convention a dinner would be held for all at the temple where traditional Cretian food would be served. Must have been beautiful as the templeoverlooks the sea and with the sunset it's magical. I am so angry, disappointed and pissed off that I didn't manage to go. I hope I can attend the London Comic-con during the summer. I intend of flying over at some point during the summer, just not sure what dates yet. Also disappointed that there's no Flugtag event in Hyde Park this year.
:: Blew off some steam by going out for coffee with some friends and my cousin, who's flying back to Edinburgh tomorrow. She's studying there for her PhD. Something to do with Chemistry and DNA but the exact subject eludes me. We started talking about various stupid/funny things we'd done in the past and couldn't stop laughing as we recalled something a friend of ours did a couple of years ago. It was my College graduation day and all my friends attended wearing beautiful, elegant gowns. Later in the evening we went to a club where drinking and dancing ensued. A friend of mine was wearing a beautiful dress which was long in the back and strapless on top. Whenever she tried to dance, she accidentally stepped on her dress which resulted on the top part moving down and her 'assets' being in public view! We lol'd! We are quite a silly bunch!
:: I haven't gone cd shopping in a while and while browsing at some cd 'Best Of' compilations I decided to purchase the 'Best of the Rat Pack' and 'The Best of Edith Piaf'. Money well spent I believe!
:: Haven't managed to watch last night's SNL episode yet -which featured Tina Fey- but I saw the Sarah Palin sketch and it made me happy! The '30 Rock' parody was fantastic! I hope she can do her Sarah Palin bits every so often because she's hilarious and spot on in her impression!
:: Also, don't forget to Vote For Heroes! Don't let the show get canceled you guys! Too much hotness! How can a woman live without HRG or Sylar?! Please vote. It'll only take a second!
