So, I was hanging around last night saddened by the fact that all my favorite shows are out for the Christmas season and decided that I should try watching something new. I'm not a real fan of drama, so naturally I chose a comedy. My choice: 'Glee'.
It's fun enough. A bunch of dorky misfits coupled with the stereotypical cheerleader, jock and motivated teacher make up a great singing and dancing ensemble in this series which focuses around a high school's glee club. Nothing really unexpected happens, but it's soundtrack is great and love watching people sing and dance!
The couple first episodes were annoying. People leaving then coming back to the club which in the meantime is tested by being canceled and then re-opened. Okaaaay. Then we learn about the characters who hate each other for the most part, but we all know that they're going to come and like each other and become bestest of friends. Cliche much?
Anyhoo. I looooove the guest stars though! Up 'till now it's been Josh Groban and Kristin Chenoweth! two of my favorites! Can't wait to see who they're going to bring on next!
It's a refreshing change from my other shows, even if it is packed with worn out ideas and uninteresting plot-lines. It's all about having fun and singing that counts!
