Why Is Gomez So Damn Adorable?!
I cannot wait to watch some clips of the new 'Addams Family' musical! The show just opened in Chicago and has gotten great reviews so far. That is mainly due to it's star studded cast. Bebe Newirth stars as glum Morticia and the eccentric Gomez is played by none other than the adorable Nathan Lane. Best. Casting. Ever. I seriously cannot think of anyone else to play those roles. I also love how Nathan played a small role in the 1993 'Addams Family Values' movie. Coincidence?? Anyhoo. Vanity Fair just released the fist cast photo accompanied by a great video of the photoshoot. I'm seriously starting to love Vanity Fair for those vids! First the Pythons, now this! Yay!
My excitement has got the best of me and I've started watching variosus old Nathan clips. I really hope he's nominated (at least) for a Tony this year. He wasn't nominated for 'Waiting For Godot' and I think he wasn't for 'November' either. I found this video and it made me lol! The man is always so funny! Whenever I feel down, I can just count on any Nathan interview to make me feel better! The man is just that adorable! I hope I manage to see him in the 'Addams Family' when it hits Broadway!
