Random Birthday Update
Well, my birthday passed and so has the hangover I had all day yesterday which was brought on by the festivities of the previous night. We really did have a great time! I had a couple of friends over first just for some drinks and cake and then we continued and met up with more friends at a club. Ah, what a night.
I also got some really cool presents (which is why birthdays and general celebrations are so awesome!). A number of jewelry items and a beautiful monogrammed 'C' diamond crested necklace ('C' because it's my first name's initial). I even got a couple of DVDs which pleased me greatly! My favorite one was 'Tootsie'! Such a Liz Lemon moment! I think I'm the only person in the universe who hasn't watched that movie! I've wanted to buy it for some time now, but every time I went to HMV it just totally slipped my mind. I always got sidetracked and bought other stuff. So, you can understand my excitement when I actually saw it!
I thought I'd also share a picture of my birthday cake. Yes, I'm a huge dork. I think we've established that by now. Every year my mum orders these cakes which she knows will amuse me immensely! Since it's the Pythons' 40th Anniversary it is only natural that they would be the subjet matter this year!
On another note, today is the 20th Anniversary of Graham Chapman's death. The great actor and writer died from spinal cancer and he will be greatly missed. I think I'll watch 'The Best of Graham Chapman' tonight in his memory.
