Poor Yves, I'm glad he made it out of that ordeal unscathed. Somehow I get the idea that Thierry kind of doesn't want to be a dad anymore, perhaps next time he can redeem himself.
You know, it's funny-- he's the one family sim in the house, and he's the one who wanted to get married and keeps rolling baby wants, but he's done almost none of the childrearing. He spends more time with the plants! I think maybe he just wants to spread his genes so that they take over the entire town.
Poor Yves, thank goodness he got away unscratched. I think Eustacia's behaviour has to do with her being a full-neat sim - from what I've observed, they will clean up everything, whether it needs cleaning up or not.
Heh. You think washing the cake was malicious? You know these situations when a sim is getting a bottle for the toddler, but the toddler is blocked so the sim puts the bottle down for the toddler to reach on their own? Well, I've had neat sims who loved to rush in the second that bottle touched the ground and swipe it right under the toddler's nose, leaving the poor toddler hungry. Now that's malicious.
Thierry, what kind of a family sim are you? I can understand that the novelty of fathering something can wane after the third time, but at least pay attention to your children's wails while they burn. It's right there in Parenting 101: At Least You're Not A Pack Of Wolves. Amy Tang doesn't even pretend to care now, does she? She owns the place and she knows it. Now I can't wait to get a burglar in Barkertown.
I know, can you believe her? It was like she was making a point of looking directly at Lucy *while* she was jacking her stuff. Amy Tang!!
In defense of Thierry, I feel like his not coming over has more to do with the fire being a lightning fire, which I've never been able to get sims to extinguish and which always burn out harmlessly regardless of how much damage they seem to be causing. Not sure if this is a game feature or from some mod I've got, but that always seems to be the way it goes. The wails were seriously disturbing though!

The treehouse is awesome. Well, until the near death incident. But still, I like the idea :)
