When I hear beautiful music,
It's always from another time.
At the risk of sounding super-ultra emo, I am loving my new Bright Eyes CD. Whew, the first step is admitting the problem. Lol.
Sex and the City rocks my life.
You cannot paint when you are not inspired- period.
You can, however, bake whether you are feeling sad, happy, or indifferent. Unfortunately, that will help you gain 400 pounds.
Now everythings imaginary,
Especially what you love.I've been writing a lot. That makes me happy.
I've been oddly cheerful lately. I think it has to do with work, it's very fulfilling. Can you be too cheerful though? I kind of wonder if the people at work think I'm cheerful because I'm young and naive. Maybe they are right. If so, I don't want to ever become old and pessimistic.
David Sedaris is a genius. Read him, please.
Don't be so amazing,
Or I'll miss you too much.
My dry erase board next to my desk used to be filled with homework lists. Now I have two. The one on my fridge reminds me of bills and has a few "inspirational" quotes on it. (Mostly stuff from Sex and the City - hence the quotes around "inspirational." To each his own, right?)
And the one next to my desk reminds me of my commitments to my friends. Hmmm - it's good to have free time.
So if you are feeling emo after my well-crated entry, download some Bright Eyes. I recommend "Lime Tree" or "Make a Plan to Love Me." They just might change your life.
Life's too short.
Death doesn’t ask.
It don’t owe you that.
Some things you lose,
You don’t get back.
So just know what you have.
And make a plan to love me.
And make a plan to love me sometime soon.
