So other than a few drunken ramblings, a couple of two-word entries, several poems/song lyrics, and few, "I think I am going crazy/dying posts," I don't think that I have really posted to LJ this year all that much. Therefore, I decided I should say a few things about what I've been up to...

Pretty much anyone who knows me at all knows that this year I have not hung out with you as much as I did last year (if I knew you last year), or really as much as I should have, if I just met you this year (or even if I knew you last year given that one, now that I think about it).

I have had a few fights, a couple of heartbreaks, a few new friends (Steve, Jeff, Meredith (though I should see her more), Dana, Nathan, Kati, Aaron, more I did not mention here (sorry), a few new leadership positions (Alliance, Women's Council, ASMSU Academic Assembly, Madhouse), a new birthday (21), a new (additional) major (hello Microbiology), a few credits (35 total), a few discoveries about myself (if you are interested, ask me). . .

Hmmm, that's enough of that; I don't feel like reminiscing.

That being said, more recently I finished my third year at MSU (though I still have an honors option paper to write), and moved out of the dorms for the last time ever. I think I also helped my father sell a house to my friend, Matt, though the deal is not cut yet.

Speaking of Matt, I cannot thank him enough for helping me move out of my dorm room, even staying to help my dad take down the loft, take out the carpet, put the lumber/carpet into temporary storage, put up the bunk beds again, and then load about a third of my stuff into his car, and store it in his apartment until Friday. I also can't thank him enough for tutoring me for free in chemistry for the last year and letting me live in his apartment for free last summer for a week when I was inbetween houses. He has constantly refused to take any form of payment for anything, against all my protests. So shout out to Matt. Yeah, he's amazing.

On a different note, I just watched the movie Ray with Danny, who is leaving for Spain for the summer to do a JMC internship. I hate him for leaving me -- he tried to get me to go with him, but I am too locked into my degree program and too broke for it. I will miss him dearly over the summer.

P.S. -- I am also excited to live in Phoenix House over the summer -- 239 Oakhill, for anyone who wants to find me.

Yeah, I think that is it for now. It's getting late. More later.
