SOOOOO BUSY!!
Ok so the next two weeks are probably going to be the most insane two weeks of my life.. but then, when it's all done, IT'S SUMMER!!!
So things I haven't mentioned/posted about.
Kappa is going to rock hard next year. Officers are Raina, Me, Cory, Danielle, Erin, and Alex.... if that's not the coolest group of people to ever live, I don't know what is. Plus after the CFR visit on Monday, I hae some sweet ideas for the Membership Ed Program. Rock on.
Chicago was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I had so much fun in the car ride down there. Then we got to stay in the condo and saw RENT Friday night!!! Oh my god. It was amazing. I cried. A lot, especially during I'll Cover You (Reprise). Plus we go to see all of the cool parts in the musical that aren't in the movie. The Mark had a voice like Anthony, the Roger had a funny nose, the Mimi was great and sounded like Daphne and the Joanne was super impressive. Maureen = not so much. And Angel had gigantic missle launching arms.
Then the nest day we went to Navy Pier and me Shan and Marcie went in the Ferris Wheel! Yay!! Then we did some serious shopping where I basically bought my entire summer wardrobe, but it's worth it casue the clothes were adorable and the last time I was in Chicago I bought basically nothing. Then we went to the Cheesecake Factory and almost exploded. So good. Then Wicked was Saturday night. And of course, more crying. I swear to god I thought my heart was breaking in half during As Long as You're Mine.... Kristy Kates = Amazing. If I could sing, dance or act, my life goal would be to be on Broadway.
anyways, now I'm back at school and things are revving up for the final stretch. This Monday was intense. A full day of classes, The CFR dinner, another class, a recital and then my CFR meeting.. which was slightly.. ahem... delayed... hahah. Then yestersay was more class, a full (very busy) day of work and intense paper-writing homework/Idol and House at night. Today I had class and now I've got launry, reeds, Theory homework, and Alias to watch, plus my lesson, piano, ear training and theory quizes tomorrow.. Holy hell.
Friday is Relay for life and I'm super excited. I made over a hundred dollars for cancer and it's all thanks to Lil Shanny!!! plus our SMB team had almost reached out goal of two thousand bucks!!! WE ROCK!!
Ummmm this weekend I've also got to write my last paper of the year and so some gouging homework... oh joy..
My cane's done soaking... time for reeds!!!
