Dear Diary,
Well since everyone I know is actually updating their journals with items of substance, I guess I'll give it a shot. Life is very interesting right now, but I'm enjoying it. I'll have to take you a little in the past to catch everyone up.
Spring Break: Went to Cocoa Beach, Florida for Spring Break '06 and it was amazing. The first couple days were a little slow due to lack of teenage life in the area. But by the time the weekend got there, we had met some people our age and it was all good. Basically our days consisted of waking up early and laying on the beach, getting some Taco Bell, sleeping on the beach, switching to the pool area, KFC for dinner, getting ready, going to the Storm Club for late night activities. So it was basically seven days of that and not much else, which is why I loved it. It was sunny everyday, warm, gorgeous, and fun. I had a couple interesting nights of drunkeness, but overall I really never got to stupid....just pleasantly buzzed. Met some cool people that go to CMU and live right across the parking lot here at Deerfield that I didn't even know existed. I need to hang out with them now.
School Life: Still hate talking about school, so I'll talk about other things. Things are interesting here at the apartment. Drama like crazy, but I have a wonderful way of ignoring it and finding that I don't allow myself to get involved. Its all stupid so therefore I don't really care what happens. I'm not part of it so that's all that matters. If I do find myself getting in there, it will not be pretty. Cause basically I'm blunt and will say some pretty honest shit. My mom has informed me that her and Wayne are thinking about buying a house or a trailor up here in Mt. Pleasant to rent out. I'm very excited about that and hope that it will happen soon and I'll have a place to stay. Nothing is official, but the idea gets me going.
Friends: Well this area has been interesting lately. I got my usual friend group that I love and adore, but I've had a falling out with a group of friends that really sucks. Not necessarily my fault, but is because I had a problem with a certain individual. I shouldn't let that get in the way of friends I made because of that person. I miss you guys if you read this. On the other hand I've made a new friend that I'm getting to know. A lot of information is being processed, but I always enjoy meeting new people (especially extremely interesting ones who have lead very experienced lives). So that's exciting!
Home: I've been going home almost every weekend to work so that I could go on Spring Break, although much of the cash I earned was used on things that I needed to pay for before I even left for Florida. None the less I've been working like crazy and have nothing really to show for it. Pretty much my weekends are shot and I look forward to the week because that's more relaxing then being at home. Got to see Angie and Daniel last weekend and went to the brewery and had a beer with them. That was fun. Bart is usually home so I get to see him as well. Mom and Wayne have been busy traveling. They went to Kentucky last weekend and are planning on going to Germany for a long weekend in 2 weeks. That's very exciting and I'm jealous. They're also getting new carpet downstairs due to frequent flooding from our sub-pump.
So basically a lot has been going on and now you all have been brought up to speed hopefully. Over and out Eric fans.
