al-Barran Midwinter
Planning on going to al-Barran Midwinter; I'll already be in Albuquerque working with the NBC station, and so it'll be nice to go. It'd also be nice if I could get that brown wool kirtle done, but (and) the Christmas preparations are taking my time. Robert's looking for someone to drive down and back with, since he really worries about the long drive by himself. Well, Evan too, but he can't drive.
If Robert and Evan come down for Midwinter, I won't have to try to pack all the SCA kit for the airplane ride. It's somewhat difficult to pack a week and a half of business clothes, a laptop, and a complete one-day wardrobe, and feast gear, and a chair, and a banner, and etc. in the two checked and two carry-on bags allowed by the airlines. It'd sure be nice to load it all into the minivan and not have to worry about it.
