well I`m one step closer to working at MAC
Well!
Okay so I had my second interview at mac last Friday and it went pretty good. There were a few things they asked me to do differently which was fine with me because they were things I didn`t know were standard for MAC. Example- I used only a lipgloss and their standard is to use three lip products so I had to go back and use another two. The only thing I did they they asked me to change was use a bit more foundation and also use a concealer. Not so bad for someone with no make up artist experience.
So that went pretty well. After the application the assistant manager took me into the mall and we chatted a bit. I felt pretty confident in my answers. The manager had a last minute appointment and couldnt be there so that evening she called me becuase she wanted to ask me a couple questions so we chatted for 20 minutes. They then told me they wanted me to continue in the interview process and I had a phone interview with the regional manager of operations. She was super nice and that went really well too. she then told me that the manager at the store im applying at is really fond of me and would give me a call either today or tomorrow to let me know. Also the manager told the regional manager to call her at home and tell her what she thought of me becuase she was really anxious to know becuase she liked me. that made me really happy. So they want me to continue in the next interview which is a make up application with a professional trainer. I was a bit nervous but she explained that its just to make sure i take criticism well and that i am trainable becuase she says they hire for their customer service and people abilities and train for their skills. So we`ll see! I`m really excited about it!
