its horrible

It is horrible what is happening to those people in Lousianna. Whenever I see it on the news I want to cry. I see peoples houses under water. To me a house represents more than just four walls and a roof. Its a home. Imagine all that they are losing. Not just monetary posessions but photos, keepsakes, their baby blankets, the things that people cherish. I have always been a paranoid person. When I was younger I used to lay awake and think about the horrible things I thought would happen to me. Generally I feared I would be kidnapped again but when I wasnt fearing that I was fearing a fire or earthquake. I would think of the things I would grap in the last minute before I ran out of the house.
Now seeing all of this I see that people didnt even grab things other than the clothes on their backs. So it got me thinking what would I bring?
What would you bring? Its a scary thought.
