Today was an exceptional day.
So lately at work I have been bounced around like crazy. Open. Close. Open. Close. Open. Close. You get the picture. Wednesday I worked till 11pm. Thursday I worked until 11pm again. Friday I worked at 845am to about 5pm. Then today I opened and had to be up at 4am. Tomorrow I close 3-11pm. Its just nuts.
So I was supposed to go with Jesse to get tattooed at Adam`s at about noon but he didnt call me yesterday and I didn`t get his calls (even though he did call... He called my sidekick not my cellphone) so I waited until about 11 and decided to just lay down and ended up falling asleep. At about noon I had a voicemail so I checked it and called him back. I felt bad. I felt like a flake and I`m not a flake and I hate flakey people.
So after his tattoo he came up to Santa Cruz and i got to take a gander! Looked really good but thats cause Adam did it. So we went to Staff Of Life cosmetic store and got him some biodegradeable vegan lotion and soap. He fell in love with Greta, the friendly saleswomen. So then we went to Saturn and got lunch. He got the grilled onion burger and I got the new Buck (vegan riblet and chipotle sauce dealy) and we had then cut it in half and switched. The new Buck thing was SOOOO spicey! They really need a warning on that thing.
So on the way back we went to Walgreens and got some aquaphor and brush-ups. Then stopped at Zizzos and got some coffee. In between that we picked up a hitch hiker and took her to her temple. I normally wouldnt pick up a hitchiker but jesse was adament about doing it. So we did that. THen went back to my house so Jesse could take care of business.
Then we went to the mall where I picked up my hot topic paycheck and we found some sweet sunglasses. Jesse got a couple pairs and I got one. We chatted up the guy working at the stand and he informed us someone stole his cellphone while he was working. The guy told us he has to pay 50 dollars to get a new one so jesse GAVE him 45 bucks! The guy gave me my sunglasses for free which was nice. Jesse is too nice.
So we came back to my house and jesse went home and I went to the grocery store got some OJ, bagels, peanut butter, and stuff.
Now I am home.
I never just hang out with people anymore really. Theres always an agenda and something to do. Its nice to have friends.
