it's time
man alive, it's been a while. i'll let everyone know what's going on in the oh so exciting life of laura
1. school is out! it's been out for a little while now. what a relief. whew. now i can start working on my list of books to read.
books i need to finish reading:
-lady in waiting
-don't waste your life(tyana-gary let me borrow his from the study the group did before i joined. he said to only read the first 3 chapters)
-black
books i need to start:
-velvet elvis
-blue like jazz
-the screwtape letters
-red
2. i went to tennesse this week to see some people before they graduated. it was a nice trip. i was only at jbc for a few hours, then i stayed the rest of the time in pigeon forge/gatlinburg with some other friends from school. we went to the smokies on wednesday. weather was perfect. went rock hopping. took a nap on a big rock in the middle of the stream with the sun shining down on me. on my way home i stopped in cincy to visit lindsey. we went to dinner then to a park to walk around and talk. it was a great visit. minus the whole getting lost thing on my way to ccu. lol.
3. i've come to the conclusion that the radio is making me a much better speller. i mean first it was b-a-n-a-n-a-s and now we have g-l-a-m-o-r-o-u-s. seriously. i get a spelling lesson every day! the sad part about this whole little sidenote is the fact that i couldn't spell out those words without doing it to the beat/tune of the songs. how pathetic.
4. i have a ticket to the may day concert. pretty excited about that. chris cornell, three days grace, breaking benjamin, chevelle, operator...yeah that's a pretty decent line up. for sure.
