so i was able to get free tickets for the jimmy eat world/green day concert here in indianapolis monday night, and i really almost wish i would not have wasted my time. Jimmy Eat World was good, but they only got a half an hour on the stage and so they played mainly their radio releases. They did play a couple other songs off of futures, but nothing off of clarity. Anyhow, I wish that green day was still how they were back in the days of dookie. They spent more time making political comments and trying to get the crowd to cheer for them than they did playing music. There was one point in the concert where there was nearly a 15 minute break between songs. Let's just say I am glad I didn't spend the $45 dollars it would have cost (before ticketmaster fees that is). Anyhow I thought I would use lj to get my frustration and disappointment out.
