I have returned!
I read all the comments on the last post, but I'm too lazy to reply -- in short, yeah, my Spanish is bad, yeah, our language program sux0rz mucho, and the ECS? Good thing there was no content then!
Unfortunately, I couldn't find any Cruz Azul shirts because I was only in Mexico for three days, and not even full days, and only in tourist-y areas. Though I asked in Spanish "Tienes una camisa de El Cruz Azul?" (I didn't know if it was del or de el because the el is part of the name).
I had a Tequila--that was fun. Er, really fun, I want another. I got tipsy after only one shot. I also tried escargot on the cruise and it tasted like oily rubber and looked completely disgusting. And I got a lot of free icecream. Lots. Um, and I went shopping, but didn't buy anything; our neighbor was trying to teach us how to haggle so we'd go up to random people without the intent of buying and she'd just haggle. It was sort of scary. I hope I never have to sell anything to her--at one point she actually shoved the money into someone's hand.
And there were Magnums, but not illustrated ones (those of you who went on the Europe Trip know what I'm talking about probably).
I'm glad to be back; my neighbor who came with us made lots of friends, and I was anti social, because I weirding out everyone so I finally gave up trying to hang out with everyone else my age... Long story, but whatever. It ends happily ever after when I go up to the free icecream booth and get free icecream.
And because it was a Disney cruise--if anyone mentions having faith in dreams or pixie dust to me, I will beat them to death with a spoon.
