Dumbly dying at Snapes hands was pretty awesome. Snape just got cool. He doesn't make a good hero, but he makes an awesome backstabber... Though I hate the fact that Harry was right, and ohpoorHarry no one beleived him, but Harry is always right....
Draco was awessssssssssssssome! But he didn't make up completely for the lack of SIRIUS!!!!
"I ONLY LOVE HER BROTHERLY" - Oh yeah, sure, Harry. The same way Oedipus loved his mother only "motherly"....
He'll get over her, there's still the final book... a lot can happen...

i guess you have all abandoned this post already, I have been without internet, source of all life, for a while, so sorry I'm late.

To the subject. Why, oh why, do Hogwarts keep a house they KNOW educate wizards who tun evil? Why?! If that isn't stupidity, I don't know what is.

Because that's the plot... where else would you get bad guys? But there's a lot of silly plotholes....
Actually, I wondered that a lot too when I read the book. But, hey, political correctness exists in the wizarding world too.

But then again, Slytherin isn't inherently evil. It's naturally abitious. It's just that since there's ambitious and not Ravenclaws, most are too stupid to figure out which team is going to win in the long run, so they all become lame idiotic Death Eaters and get pwned eventually.

And it's green. *__*

One can be ambitious *and* smart! Just not at Hogwarts I guess. We should create a new house for ambitiously smart people. Oh, wait, the HGM exists for that reason...

Yes. We need to respect all those kids who turn out to be monsters, causing suffering to others. It is only because they had a bad childhood! Oh, wait, we provided that bad childhood, didn't we? Ooops....

They didn't have a bad childhood, most Slytherins are spoiled it seems... But still! It's silly... I mean, it's like a school run by naive people who refuse to see evil growing in front of them.

yes, they have a lot of toys but no love. and then they will grow up and become like their parents and their children will go to slytherins and there we have a complete circle.

yes, the wizard world seems to be very naive. i often feel the urge to hit them with something hard but since they are fiction it is difficult. and after "the order of the phoenix" what i was wondering more than anything was "ARE THERE NO DEMOCRATIC RIGHTS IN THAT MESSED UP WORLD? can they learn nothing from muggles? they sure seem to need it!"

Yeah, what I love so much in the book in the wizard/witch belief of superiority in the book. Muggles are dumb, nothing to learn from them... What I thought was hilarious was when they were introducing the killing spell, and how it could kill --ohmygosh-- ONE WHOLE PERSON!!! How terrifying! YES! ONE! I'm certain the stupid muggles can't beat that!!!
I'd love to see in the seventh book the muggles dropping a nuclear bomb on Hogwarts... So much for witch/wizard superiority. Even their worst villain isn't as evil/destructive as our average killer. (Not that I'm supporting killing here, it's just so funny how the witches and wizards think they're "all that" when our technology pwns. But I'm starting to speak of them as though they're real. Uh oh.)
'Nuff Harry Potter, I should get back to the real world (haha, and by the real world, I mean back to reading Shakespeare, which is only a tad more realistic than Harry Potter. Better written though.)

an interesting scenario. One room. A row of wizards along one wall, wands ready. One muggle by the other wall, machine gun ready. Wizards, start mumbling, and waving your wands around! Muggle, press trigger! Oh, so stupid!

Why am I going on like this? To much sun, must be. O_o

Haha, the sun has messed with your mind.
Go write the seventh book, it'd be a lot funnier that way.
