Ok, I'm getting obsessed with a movie coming down the pipeline called "300". I've been playing on the official site, the videos for the behind the scenes.
To give you some back story, it's based on Frank Miller's (Sin City) graphic novel of the same title. It is about the Greek Battle of Thermopylae. Gerard Butler plays the lead role of King Leonidas.
I think I am attracted to the movie, due to a mix of reasons. My Father being a Greek man, has always been fascinated by Greece's history (along with Roman). He would say things to me when I was a child that I didn't realize were related to this Battle or the Spartan culture.
His parting words to me before I came up here for college were "To come home with my shield or on it."
Another reason I want to see it, is because I liked Frank Miller's work.
Lastly, 300 half-naked men running around in some great looking fight scenes??? I'm so there!!!
