It's been a while!
Hi everyone! I know it has been quite a while since my last post but I didn't realize it was over 2 months ago! Well, Matthew is now 3 1/2 months old and the love of my life! I am loving motherhood and maternity leave. I usually hate September since it means going back to work, but not for me this year! Matthew is doing wonderfully! He was officially discharged from the pediatric cardiologist and is starting to sleep through the night. He weighs about 12 pounds now and has outgrown most of his 0-3 month clothes. I can't believe how big he has gotten. He smiles, laughs, coos, and is even starting to babble a little. Jay and I have settled into a nice routine and love being parents. Jay is a wonderful dad and does whatever he can to help out with Matthew (even middle of the night feedings!).
Everything else is pretty quiet around here. I started rehearsing for a show a few weeks ago. I am going to be in "Showstoppers" with the Long Island Cabaret in November. It is low commitment (only 1-2 rehearsals a week) and all singing and dancing. I am having a lot of fun with it and am glad to be performing again. Well, gotta run...meeting Mom for lunch! Hope everyone is doing well!
