Cancer-free mommy!
Thank goodness she's cancer-free!
She still has "diseased lungs," asthma, and GERD, but none of that C-Word. She'll undergo heavy steroid treatment after she's done recovering from the surgery, as she has "Sarcoidosis" in her lungs which is the scarring of tissue in small lumps. The doctors realllly thought the lumps were cancer, so they went on digging fearing the worst and scaring us all in the process.
She still has 4-6 weeks of limited-mobility recovery before she can begin the treatment, so I still have to go home and get her out of the house when I can. She's not the sedentary type of broad, so it's hell for her not to have the ability to go out and buy things at Costco or... Costco. Apparently, to pass the time she's been making enough earrings to decorate every stretched-out lobe and nostril of a small Namibian village. Bless her. She will always find a way to provide something for someone in abundance and no gorram lump is gonna get in the way!
