Everything I Been Up To Lately
-On Thanksgiving, me and Felicia went to NWI to my mom's house. Much eating was had, and much driving around was had. We spent the night at Bill's new place. He has an entire house to himself with like 20 rooms so it was no problem. Me and him caught up on stuff then it was off to bed. Unfortunately I had to work the next day. Yes I worked on BLACK FRIDAY! But it wasn't until 1 PM. By that time the craziness was over and it was like a typical day.
-Much like at McDonald's I'm dealing with a manager that I don't like a whole lot. And the worse thing is, she's pretty useless as a manager. On Black Friday night, I had to work on a register and the scanner thingy wasn't working right. So I asked her why it was doing that and how to fix that and she goes "I don't know why you asking me?" Then she had me to do everyone else's job while everyone else practically did nothing. Twas kinda aggrivating.
-I dunno if anyone goes to Staples often. But anytime you get anything mildly electronic-y the salesperson asks if you want an extended warranty or protection. Apparently we have to constantly push these warranties/protection things cause that's how they make their money I guess? So it's become sort of a contest between all the sales people on who can sell the most (which is why I posted the Glengarry Glenn Ross video a week or so ago). Well on Monday, I managed to get 5 in one day, which is a lot to get in a day. All day Tuesday people were high fiving me and the manager I sorta don't like kinda left me alone most of the day. Today I managed to get 4. Not bad, eh?
-Felicia has been out doing derby stuff. One Saturday we went to this weird thing, it's kinda hard to describe cause I don't even know what it was. But the derby girls were there promoting the team and selling swag and stuff. All the girls, including Felicia, skated around. There was some mild drama cause the girls were suppose to put on some show but it wasn't until 10:30 PM and the leader of the girls (who reminds me of an evil cheerleader chick in a cheerleader movie) didn't tell them it'd be that late and there was another event and all sorts of crazy stuff. It was nuts. But I got to see a burlesque show. (Not put on by the derby girls.)
-This guy at work and his wife want to audition for The Amazing Race but they don't have a cool camera to make a tape. So I offered my services and they said yes. So we have to figure out a day to do that. Yay another thing to add to my resume.
-Some advice: If you need an ink cartridge for your printer, either: A-Bring in the empty one or B-Write down the BIG number written on it, along with the type of printer you have. Boy you have no idea how annoying that is.
-Oh and when you need help, get off your stupid phone!
-Me and Felicia now own 80% of the Singstar games for PS2 that exist. Fun times are to be had at our casa. I should film one of our singing sessions some night. And if you wanna participate, come on over.
-And finally, that chick Kari from Mythbusters is kinda hot. Just saying.
