OK, so a little while ago, my boyfriend and I, for lack of anything else to do, ended up watching what's quite possibly the movie most deserving of the MST3K treatment.
The film was, most imaginatively, called 'Trans-morphers' (yes, you're reading that correctly) and it WAS about giant robots that transformed into things, however they weren't 'friendly' (the description went as far as saying: 'forget those namby-pamby robots in disguise')
And it was all based around sets stolen from other movies and TV shows lesbianism the humans fight for their planet. [insert half-assed cheering]
My bloke and I found out it was pretty much like a train wreck, you knew you shouldn't watch, but you just couldn't look away. All the way through, we kept up the MST3K treatment of adding lines, pointing out flaws, stolen sets and plots from other films(BSG, Firefly, Stargate and Fifth Element, to name but a few)
So, in short…I think we need MST3K to come back because there's films like that deserving of the treatment.
