Joe Don Baker-- the most gifted actor of our time
I just finished watching Mitchell with my boyfriend for the first time, and it's kind of sad, but I liked the character in the "Good god, this is the ultimate example of the American stereotype" way. My plan is to become a director someday, and I had to wonder, what if I were to remake this American masterpiece? I thought I would ask others who they would cast in their Mitchell movie. Honestly, I can't think of any other big fat slob to fill Joe Don Baker's shoes.
Also, is it sad that I really actually enjoy the song "Mitchell" because it's so awful? Some songs from MST movies are just so horrendous, I wish I could put them on my non-existent iPod. I feel the same way about the songs from The Girl in Gold Boots. Does anyone happen to have mp3s of any of the horribly bad songs featured in MST movies?
