A slow recovery...
This is for all of you who do not know yet...
Friday, June 10, 2005 at 6:41pm I was in a serious car accident.
While moving home from college (ie: I had EVERYTHING that I own in my car) I was hit by a semi. My car was completely totalled. I managed to survive with only a sore neck, back, and head. I'm very lucky to be alive. The state patrol officer told me that when he came up on the accident that he thought there was no way someone would have survived that accident. He was expecting to see me dead. I guess I didn't realize how serious the accident was until I really saw the car today. The entire back left side is missing. There's mangled metal and glass everwhere. I went to the towing place and pulled everything I could out of the car. I'm haunted by the accident. I couldn't sleep at all last night. I'm taking vicodin for the pain. So yes. Thoughts, prayers, love... all are accepted right now.
PS: My parents left for Cali yesterday morning for 3 weeks... I'm on my own in this recovery.
