America the Beautiful
So as I leave for the United States, I can't help but feel very excited. It is a moment in history, both political and that of a nation and the world. We are on the brink of change, and I have never felt more anticipation than I have lately.
I myself want change, to do something exciting, worthwhile and completely different. I sense that this trip to America will cement my future, and the path I take following university.
I feel as if my spiritual home is in America, who knows, perhaps I was a rich American in a previous life! All I know is that she is calling me, back to my homeland.
On other fronts, life ticks along slowly, if not uneventlfully. University is much the same- lectures, seminars, research and writing. I hope for something exciting to crop up, to distract me from the dull repetition of everday life. I have yet to pack for America, I leave on Wednesday.
