To stare mortality in the face, or the back as it recedes in most cases, is a heady experience. Whether it is yours, or someone else’s; to watch it slip away is an intense experience. The process of death is one we must accept and I believe we must embrace3 if to truly enjoy our lives.
It’s cliché but people always say live each day as if it’s your last. Accomplish all you can, inspire and touch as many people as possible, leave as little damage behind as possible. If we each took this creed to heart5- the world would be a much better place.
Unfortunately, we3 can’t live like that. To live like that is to consciously accept that we all must lose each other one day. And that’s sad. We where all born alone and we will die alone is equally depressing. But, hear me out. Once you embrace these two of the hardest concepts to contemplate- you have nothing left but to enjoy every second to the fullest. To impart as much wisdom and life as you can in the moments you have.
Life really is too short. Go live it!
