It's the end of the world as we know it
So, I survived the so-called end of the world on December 21, 2012. I have to admit I did, for a second at 12am on the 21st, think that there was going to be some huge news story or something, but I did not think the world was going to end. Y2k didn't happen, so why would this?
Anyways, nothing like Christmas and the end of the world to make you think about your own life. It brings me thoughts of what I am thankful for. Tonight, I am raising my glass to the little things. Donating $10 to a woman whose husband is sick for a teddy bear, family being there for you through your worst, and laughing at complete stupidity. Don't forget to think of the little things. Do not get caught up in the mainstream trash of the world.
